This course is a legal requirement to obtain the SIA CCTV Licence which enables you to work as a CCTV operator.

Unit 1: Working as a Close Protection Operative
Externally set and externally assessed MCQ paper with 25-questions, 40-minute duration, 70% pass mark. Externally set and internally assessed open-response questions and internally set and internally assessed practical tasks.

Unit 2: Planning, Preparing and Supporting a Close Protection Operation
Externally set and externally assessed MCQ paper with 30-questions, 45-minute duration, 70% pass mark. Externally set and internally assessed open-response questions and internally set and internally assessed practical tasks.

Unit 3: Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry
Externally set and externally assessed MCQ paper with 20-questions, 30-minute duration, 70% pass mark.

Course Overview:

The leading qualification for events cover, the Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid, and more! For those with further ambitions, it also forms the first step of a programme to become a Paramedic in 2 years.

Over 5 days, you will fulfil the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations. A perfect fit for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder.

The QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised prehospital care qualification specifically designed for those looking to progress their career within the NHS or private ambulance services as an emergency care assistant, intermediate ambulance practitioner, event medical provider, associate practitioner or healthcare assistant.   • This course is designed for learners who currently hold a license from the SIA to work as a door supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new license linked qualification requirements.
  • This course includes the emergency first aid qualification, if you already hold a first aid qualification, we can offer a reduced cost of the course.
  • It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm each learner is sufficiently qualifies in first aid prior to carrying out the security training.
  • The full course is approx. 30 hours of learner (some home study will be given)

Course content:

Emergency first aid, principles of using equipment as a door supervisor and the application of physical intervention techniques, principles of terror threat awareness.

This qualification is assessed by practical assessments and multiple choice exams.

Whether you’re a large corporate business, a small organisation, or an individual, the Level 2 Door Supervision course can be taken by anyone who wishes to obtain an SIA Licence. Our SIA approved training courses are competitively priced to offer exceptional value and have consistently high pass rates. You don’t need any formal qualifications to take the course, although a basic level of numeracy and literacy is assumed. You must also be able to provide personal identification and proof of address, in accordance with SIA training guidelines.

To obtain one of the qualifications linked to Level 2 Door Supervisor licensing you will need to attend and take four training modules and pass three exams.
