As the sun seems to have gone into hiding for this bank holiday weekend, we will be heading to the cinema to see the new release #Tolkien. Starring home grown #NicholasHoult and the beautiful #LilyCollins.
Tolkien explores the formative years of the orphaned author as he finds friendship, love and artistic inspiration among a group of fellow outcasts at school. This takes him into the outbreak of World War I, which threatens to tear the fellowship apart. All these experiences would inspire Tolkien to write his famous Middle-Earth novels ‘The Hobbit’ & ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
Capricorn security enjoyed providing the security for all the filming that took place in Cheshire and Manchester. It is great to watch the region become such a popular location for films recently. There is no doubt that this is due to the mixture of modern and period architecture the region offers as well as picturesque and industrial landscape we are also fortunate enough to have within a short distance of the city centre. Above all, the region is becoming a firm favourite amongst the big budget projects out there.
Be sure to look out for some of Manchester City Centre’s famous buildings in this film. For instance, the breath-taking John Rylands Library.
