Tonight, sees the second of the three new dramas we have worked on airing this week. The Virtues, a four-part drama starts tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.

The Virtues reunites the #Bafta winning genius behind #ThisisEngland, #ShaneMeadows, with the man of the moment acclaimed actor #StephenGraham (Line of Duty, This is England). Consequently this has created a ‘poetic masterpiece’. This heart-breaking drama follows Joseph (Graham) who is forced to confront his harrowing past. Shane Meadows has openly spoken about how this story is inspired by horrific events that happened in his own past.

Although the series is mainly set in Ireland it was almost all filmed in South Yorkshire. Warp Films, the production company behind The Virtues are based in Sheffield themselves. Therefore they have a long running relationship with the region and always deliver beautiful films and television dramas.
